Teaching Philosophy:
“Teacher is not only knowledge giver, but also motivator. The more teacher focuses on caring of students, the more students are interested in chemistry, and as a result they can be good chemists.” Giving knowledge is one way teaching, but giving motivation is two way. By motivating students, they can THINK about the subjects and response with questions with curiosity. And from the students response, teachers can learn, too. I like to ask questions to students during classes to make students thinking about and involving in the subject, and try to connect the subject to real life through demonstration or explanation. I believe that thinking is one of most important thing to be a good chemist. I want all of my students in the class to do so, and it is teacher’s job to make students to do so.
What is the pH of tap water? Why isn’t it 7 which is for neutral?
