Overview: Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics, installers, and repairers.

Job Outlook: Employment of Maintenance Supervisors is expected to grow about as fast as average through 2018. Employment is related to the number of buildings and the amount of equipment needing maintenance and repair. One factor limiting job growth is that computers allow buildings to be monitored more efficiently, partially reducing the need for Maintenance Supervisors.
