|Job Outlook:||Employment of sound engineering technicians is expected to grow as fast as average through 2018. Audio and video equipment is in heavy demand in many new buildings, and many new technicians will be needed to install, maintain and repair the equipment. An increase in the use of digital signage will also lead to higher demand. In the movie industry, employment for these workers will grow because they are needed to install digital movie screens.|
