Social and Community Service Managers
|Overview:||Plan, organize, or coordinate the activities of a social service program or community outreach organization. Oversee the program or organization's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Work may involve directing social workers, counselors, or probation officers.|

|Job Outlook:||Employment of social and human service managers is expected to grow much faster than average through 2018 due to the aging population’s increased demand for services such as adult day care, meal delivery, and medical crises support. Opportunities will be good in private social services agencies.|
|Education Level:||Typically, a Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college (some are 5 years) is required to be considered for this occupation.|
