Dear QCC Parent,

Welcome to the QCC Career Services Web site! The Office of Career Services addresses the career development needs of all Queensborough students and alumni. It is our job to educate students about the job search process and to help develop the skills students need to prepare a resume and present themselves to employers. Our Office posts full-time and part-time job and internship opportunities to the entire college population. We work closely with the departments of the College in bringing this information to all students. We focus on providing job and internship opportunity information that relates to the curricula of the college. Additionally, we post jobs that can assist students in meeting expenses while they attend classes. Employers conduct formal interviews on-campus with students who have been prepared for this activity by professionals in our Office. Job fairs, where many employers come to campus with job opportunities for our students, are held once a year. Students who register with the Office of Career Services receive the benefits of our resume bank. The resume bank is a tool we use to match the skills of our students with the needs of employers interested in hiring our students. We know that career development is a crucial part of a college education and we encourage your son/daughter to take full advantage of the many services provided by our Office.
