Field Supervisor

Description: • Field supervisor is responsible for oversight of service delivery to assigned groups during program operation in the field, including exchange of funds for petty cash and related paperwork, protective oversight, approval of planned outings, supervisory feedback to group leaders in keeping with HeartShare’s standards of conduct and service delivery philosophy, collection of program-related paperwork, and communication with the Senior Coordinator of Respite/Recreation programs regarding any significant needs or events that impact on the quality of service delivery. • Oversee, monitor and assure smooth operation of assigned program(s) in accordance with agency polices and procedures and regulatory guidelines, including incident reporting, approving activities planned by group leaders, contacting staff between sessions to discuss pertinent information, and setting positive tone for recreational enjoyment and promotion socialization. • Familiarizes self with care needs of group members, toileting, socialization, communication, dietary restrictions, and behavioral concerns and offers assistance appropriate to maximizing individual’s ability to participate in group sessions as independently as possible. • Promotes group enthusiasm and help create supportive atmosphere for active participation and socialization. • Represents HeartShare is a professional manner.
