Community Affairs Intern

Description: Intern will work closely with the Director on establishing or maintaining relations with New York-based organizations on issues that are of CAIR-NY’s scope. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): o Research organizations that overlap with CAIR-NY in scope o Meet with representatives of various organizations in the NY area o Conduct Intro to CAIR-NY presentations o Maintain appropriate files and databases o Maintain CAIR-NY website o Design promotional materials for different events and different audiences o Publicize CAIR-NY events o Post events to appropriate websites and list serves
