The mission of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is to enhance teaching potential and effectiveness across the College. Its existence reinforces the importance of teaching excellence as a fundamental responsibility of an urban, public university. By providing focus, visibility, and recognition for the College’s teaching mission, it gives leadership to the development of a campus climate where excellence in teaching flourishes and where concrete links are maintained between the technology/career curricula and the liberal arts. Through workshops and programs, the Center brings faculty from all disciplines into contact with creative instructional practices and technologies.
