The certificate program is designed for the working student who has achieved a career-oriented position in a computer related business area and desires to improve his/her skills. 

All students must complete the following general core and business course requirements:

  • English Composition I
  • Liberal Arts and Science electives (6 Credits)
  • Introduction to Microcomputer Applications
  • Introduction to Computer Programming for Business

Offering advanced courses in:

  • Business Programming with Objects (C++)
  • Business Programming with Visual Languages (Visual Basic)
  • Web Page Programming (HTML and JavaScript)
  • COBOL Programming
  • Microcomputer Operating Systems
  • Systems Analysis and Design

Core courses of the CIS Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) Degree program:

  • Introduction to Microcomputer Applications
