Biography
Jorge Quijano Ahijado was born in León, Spain.
He holds the BA in Painting from the University of Salamanca, a BFA from the Sorbonne University of Paris, Saint Charles Center, and MFA from the Sorbonne University of Paris, Panthéon Sorbonne.
Jorge Quijano was professor of Value of the Immaterial in Contemporary Art at the Carlos III University in Madrid, Spain.
Jorge's work has received numerous awards for his work, worth mentioning in 2003, as a Finalist Jeune Creation. International Contemporary Art, La Vilette. Paris, and in 2001 the BMW Painting Award, Museo de Bellas Artes de la Escuela de San Fernando, Madrid.
His works have been exhibited in group and solo shows extensive through Europe.
