The 2008 team winner of the “Innovative Fundraising Idea” was the Department of Foreign Languages – The Globe Trotters. One of their team approached the Chinese American Business Association (CABA) in Flushing and explained that they were one of the Teams raising scholarship dollars for future Queensborough students. They asked the group to match their fundraising efforts. The CABA gave them a grant for scholarships in the amount of $500! Yeah Globe Trotters!
