This year we are awarding cash prizes for the following:
$1000 - The Team that raises the Most Scholarship Money
$ 500 - The Team with the Most Innovative Fundraising Strategy
$ 100 - The Individual who raises the Most Scholarship Money
IMPORTANT DATES
September 10
First Club Day – 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. - find out what your department or clubs are doing to form a team for the Walk
September 17
Kickoff for the 2008 Walk – all Team Leaders come to Room S-111 at 2:00 p.m. to pick up their packet of materials for their team
September 17 through October 1
Teams in formation and fundraising begins
October 2
First Collection Date and Team Leaders submit your Registration Form for your Team – Name of the team and identify up to 10 Walkers
November 10
Final collection date – all funds must be submitted by this date to qualify for prizes at the Walk
November 12
The Walk to Aspire Celebration – 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the QCC Track – 2 mile walk – 8 times around the track. In case of rain, it will take place in the RFK – Gym
NEW THIS YEAR
You will be able to post your fundraising ideas to the Walk to Aspire web site. The team that comes up with the most innovative idea, how it was implemented and its success will be awarded the $500 prize!
