ASAP Courses of Study
Liberal Arts and Sciences - A.A.
· The Associate in Arts graduate is prepared for admission with advanced standing to a baccalaureate program. With the guidance of your student manager, you will register for a pre-selected sequence of courses. The student who completes the A.A. program at Queensborough has completed the first two years of study usually required for the Bachelor of Arts degree.
Computer Engineering Technology - A.A.S.
Electronic Engineering Technology - A.A.S.
· The educational objectives of these programs are to provide each graduate with career placement and advancement, engineering competence, professional skills and a well-rounded education.
Accounting - A.A.S.
· The Queensborough program is designed to provide the student with strong academic preparation in accounting. Graduates are prepared to launch a career in the accounting field or to continue their education in a baccalaureate program.
Business Management - A.A.S.
· The A.A.S. degree program in Management offers students an opportunity to explore a wide range of business subjects. The curriculum stresses employment skills and prepares students for positions in professional areas such as sales, advertising, market research, retailing, and small business management.
Business Administration – A.S.
· The Associate in Science degree program in Business Administration provides a strong background in liberal arts and sciences and a broad overview of the business field. It is designed for students intending to transfer to a four-year college to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business. Students will meet with their student manager to discuss their programs and the transferability of course credits to four-year colleges.
Music Electronic Technology - A.A.S.
· The Music Electronic Technology program is an innovative program integrating computer, electronic, musical, midi, and “hands-on” recording studio training to prepare students for jobs in the music industry. To achieve that goal the curriculum offers a strong foundation in mathematics, technology and music, together with a broad base of general education in the liberal arts and sciences.
