AMP-CSTEP AWARD CEREMONY
All students were honored for their participation in both the CSTEP and LSAMP programs. Their mentors were presented with an award as a token of our appreciation for mentorship to the research assistants.
QUEENS BOROWIDE FORUM PHOTOS
With the program’s goal in mind, this event serves as a medium where the LSAMP program contributors in the Borough of Queens meet to showcase and promote our progress, discuss concerns and provide ideas for further development. Faculty and students from York, Queens, and LaGuardia took the opportunity to network.
CSTEP CONFERENCE PHOTOS in Saratoga, NY
The Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at Queensborough Community College (QCC) is designed to provide academic enrichment, career development support services and peer support for students. Ms. Rihab Guneid, CSTEP Director continues to work closely with the LSAMP program. Keeping in accordance with the CSTEP goal the QCC-LSAMP research program provides the CSTEP students with an opportunity to participate in science and engineering research projects.
NYC LSAMP CONFERENCE PHOTOS
The Urban University Conference Series organized by the New York Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics was initiated in 1998. Since then the event has been held within CUNY but recently the Series have ventured outside of CUNY.
